Pioneering the halal smokehouse scene in Singapore
The Smok Hous was born out of the quiet of Singapore’s lockdown,
a time of uncertainty that we saw as a canvas for creativity. With dining rooms closed, we recognized a gap in the market: halal-conscious diners were searching for premium, chef-quality experiences at home.
What started as an intimate private dining experiment for smoked steaks quickly caught fire. The momentum was so great it birthed our flagship brand, ASAP & Co. now celebrated as one of Singapore’s halal dining destinations.
Today, The Smok Hous Barbecue has come full circle, evolving from those humble beginnings into its own dedicated barbecue outlet. While we now have a permanent home for our craft, we remain rooted in the community, bringing our signature wood-fired flavors to major lifestyle events like GrillFest, Culture Cartel, Artbox, and Sneaker Con.
While we love what we do here at The Smok Hous, we are proud to be part of a much larger story: the Straits Cattle Trading Company (SCTC).
